Functional Skills English Level 2

The Functional Skills exams that are offered by both Pass Functional Skills and MME are based online, meaning that you will be able to take the exam from home. To sit the exam, you will be required to have a computer or laptop with a working webcam and microphone on a stable internet connection on the day of the exam.
To pass the Functional Skills English Level 2, you will be required to pass 3 separate individual tasks. The first task will be the Reading task, which will require you to answer a series of questions about a given text, testing your abilities to read and analyse text. The next task will be the Writing task, requiring you to respond to a given scenario in the form of a piece of creative writing. The third and final task will be the Speaking, Listening and Communication task, which is comprised of 2 separate subtasks, where you will be with up to 3 other learners discussing a given topic. You will be required to pass all 3 tasks to achieve the qualification.
